* The evaluation of classification performance (Section 11.1) is conducted in a rather lenient fashion only, as full credit is given to partial overlap of predicted and correct chunks of text. At least for comparison, I would like to see a more strict setting relying on complete overlap (or a discussion why this is not feasible). What is more, it seems to me that chunks that are labeled with "0" in the gold standard (i.e., should not be labeled by the system) are excluded from the evaluation in the first place.
