However, the rationale behind principle F2 is to enable effective attribute-based search and query (findability), while the focus of R1 is to enable machines and humans to assess if the discovered resource is appropriate for intended reuse, given a specific task. For example, not all gene expression data for a given locus are relevant to a study of the effects of heat stress. While irrelevant data may be discovered by the agent's initial search (principle F2) for expression data about a given gene, here we address the ability to assess and filter the discovered data based on suitability-for-purpose. This reiterates the need for good data stewards to consider not only high-level metadata facets, that will assist in generic search, but also to consider more detailed metadata that will provide much more “operational” instructions for re-use. In this setting, a wide variety of factors may be needed to determine whether a resource is suitable for inclusion in an analysis, and how to adequately process it. The term “plurality” is used to indicate that the metadata author should be as generous as possible, not narrowly presuming who the secondary consumers might be, and therefore provide as much metadata as possible to support the widest variety of use-cases and agent needs. The sub-principles R1.1, R1.2 and R1.3 further define some critical types of attributes that contribute to R1. https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#GFF-R1 http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#label GFF-R1 | GFF R1 Interpretation https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#GFF-R1 https://schema.org/about https://w3id.org/fair/principles/terms/R1 https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#GFF-R1 https://schema.org/url https://www.gofair.foundation/r1 https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#GFF-R1 https://w3id.org/fair/fip/latest/declared-by https://ror.org/056j50v04 https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#provenance https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#assertion http://www.w3.org/ns/prov#wasAttributedTo https://ror.org/056j50v04 https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#pubinfo https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#sig http://purl.org/nanopub/x/hasAlgorithm RSA https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#sig http://purl.org/nanopub/x/hasPublicKey MIGfMA0GCSqGSIb3DQEBAQUAA4GNADCBiQKBgQCFntPrMZqvg2kVhCNArNnEn37ddXGwZ/0r4C8CS4lDry7C7YkYgng9yb0UMZQUHiTVkR/5A4m/xjE+Vy+AnwcWUeB75SfGZjE5ylI6VeHjTHi9+2hh2PHYIWnkhU4WHl3COEnxSSa/VouvPzZ2BIWLH6fTrq7NNL3RF5hGegGG0QIDAQAB https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#sig http://purl.org/nanopub/x/hasSignature J0HmFCLxqxP5sOA3v9Q50xynf91cW56JbesfVYqtF/UuhhoM0V4m9WaYyf0W+eoO4yH54OO01HurkcXrv3Q9ePfYeu9E+uVlAZ9QhWuy0sPixYTk/mVFaLJ/CQzWjIfzir+en+/CY7zNR9oSeJlB3ZrduTPVuRUKAzOAmCIazaA= https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#sig http://purl.org/nanopub/x/hasSignatureTarget https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY http://purl.org/dc/terms/created 2023-10-04T17:10:25.252Z https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY http://purl.org/dc/terms/creator https://orcid.org/0000-0003-2195-3997 https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY http://purl.org/dc/terms/license https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY http://purl.org/nanopub/x/introduces https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY#GFF-R1 https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY http://www.w3.org/2000/01/rdf-schema#label FAIR Interpretation: GFF-R1 | GFF R1 Interpretation https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY https://w3id.org/np/o/ntemplate/wasCreatedFromProvenanceTemplate http://purl.org/np/RANUBzTXWga5sX6dA3MhSVb4M8bdc74zvsfN_z6I5Ka1I https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY https://w3id.org/np/o/ntemplate/wasCreatedFromPubinfoTemplate http://purl.org/np/RAA2MfqdBCzmz9yVWjKLXNbyfBNcwsMmOqcNUxkk1maIM https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY https://w3id.org/np/o/ntemplate/wasCreatedFromPubinfoTemplate http://purl.org/np/RAh1gm83JiG5M6kDxXhaYT1l49nCzyrckMvTzcPn-iv90 https://w3id.org/np/RArAPRhY-VdeHvPfI-B6LWVEtV-EfF9UqgrmG-kZ2_6PY https://w3id.org/np/o/ntemplate/wasCreatedFromTemplate https://w3id.org/np/RA2uML5mNU_0CedtkdphdLwXaqNGhfyKX3R5JZO061hXM
